Prep. Apply. Cure.
Applying No Sweat® takes a few minutes and a clean cup. Here is how it goes on, and why cold cups sweat in the first place.
Three steps. Outside of the cup only.
- 1
Prep
Clean the outside of the cup with isopropyl alcohol and let it dry.
- 2
Apply
Shake well. In a well-ventilated area, spray from 6 to 10 inches away in light, even coats.
- 3
Cure
Let it dry for 5 minutes, then add a second thin coat for best results.
No Sweat® forms a thin, clear layer on the outside of the cup. It is engineered to change how heat and moisture behave at that surface.
Apply to outside surfaces only, never to the inside of a cup or any surface that touches food or drink. Safety and directions
Condensation is physics. So is the solution.
Condensation forms when a surface is colder than the dew point of the air around it. A cold drink chills the outside of its cup below that point, so water vapor in the room turns to liquid on the cup.
No Sweat® is engineered to reduce that effect at the surface. How well it works depends on temperature and humidity, which is why we publish our test conditions.

Dew point
65°F
Any surface colder than this collects water.
An iced drink (about 38°F) is 27°F below the dew point in this room, so water vapor will condense on the cup.
